Gordon has been practicing architecture for over 20 years and has a proven track record in successfully delivering complex projects from 3,000 to 1,000,000 square feet. His experience includes all phases of design, from Preliminary Design through Construction Documents for projects such as the VTA Milpitas and Berryessa parking structures.
An active member of the International Parking & Mobility Institute and ASHE , Gordon has written and spoken on topics such as parking’s role in corporate campuses, how hospitals have used parking to increase patient satisfaction, and comprehensive approaches to downtown parking.
“Public art presents an opportunity for communities to transform parking structures from the utilitarian to an expression of place," says Gordon. “If we think of parking as the first impression visitors have of their destination, public art can provide a way to celebrate identity and forge a more human, intimate connection with a space.”
