In support of diversity, equity and inclusion in the AEC industry, Watry Design is proud to be a sponsor of Amplify Women's Leadership event on January 24th in Long Beach, California. 

Join us for a night of wine, networking and inspiration. In addition to interactive group exercises, we will hear from keynote speaker Alicia Wachtel, Executive Director of Facilities Planning, Design & Construction for Cedars‐Sinai.

About the Authors

As an Associate Principal, Anita leverages over 15 years of experience in the engineering of parking structures to coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors throughout all design and construction phases of the project. Anita has extensive training in structural engineering, including award-winning projects such as the San Jose State University South Campus Multi-Level Parking Structure & Sports Field Facility.

Hannah Brooks has over 25 years of experience in business development and marketing. She is actively involved with championing Sustainable Parking Best Practices and with DBIA, where most recently she has joined the National Design Advisory Committee. Internally, she is a member of Wary Design’s JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) Council. In addition to having penned on topics such as Branding Versus Positioning and the Value of a Formal Marketing & Business Development Plan, Hannah has received Addy awards ranging from web design to music production.
