From architecture and public art to state of the art technology, parking can enhance the passenger experience. Airports are putting increased emphasis on parking that goes beyond the functional and enriches the journey.
Watry Design has delivered several successful projects at the forefront of this growing trend, including the San Diego Airport Terminal 2 Parking Plaza, Mineta San Jose Airport Parking Structure and ConRAC and Long Beach Airport parking structure.
In addition, we are currently we are working with Los Angeles World Airports to provide a premier guest experience with the Intermodal Transportation Facility-West and the Allegheny County Airport Authority to provide parking that supports the a new terminal at the Pittsburgh International Airport. Additionally, we have teamed once gain with Mineta San Jose International Airport to deliver the Economy Lot Parking Garage, phase 1 of a three phase transformation that will help alleviate the Airport's parking shortage.
I'd love to chat at the Airport Planning Design & Construction Symposium on February 19-21 in Reno to explore this and other trends and challenges in the aviation industry!
