45/20: Relationships Worth Celebrating

The work we do at Watry Design every day revolves around relationships. Over the course of our 45 year history, the relationships we have built and continue to nurture have served as a cornerstone of our success.

Therefore, as we celebrate our 45/20 anniversary this year, we are also celebrating the relationships that have gotten us to where we are today. We are fortunate to have decades of history with many of our clients, such as the cities of Palo Alto and San Mateo. The opening of Stanford University’s Parking Structure #1 in 1987 marked the beginning of a more than thirty year relationship that continues on today, with the construction of the Manzanita Parking Structure.

As we have grown over the years, so has our list of amazing clients. In addition to our long list of repeat clients we are also grateful to work with others for the first time, such as Los Angeles World Airports, with whom we are designing the LAX Intermodal Transportation Facility-West as part of the new Land Access Modernization Program.

Clients are not the only relationships we are celebrating, however. Watry Design relies on its team to deliver for our clients, and our camaraderie and dedication to one another is what helps us collectively and individually thrive. Some of our team members have called Watry Design home for over 35 years, while others have just become part of the family. Others have moved on to other things only to return and take up new challenges.

Without these incredible relationships, which also include our network of colleagues, subconsultants and other partners, we would not be where we are today. We are proud to celebrate with all of you, and look forward to continuing to serve you for years to come.
