The Pleasant Hill Parking Structure is a 4 level post tensioned concrete facility that was designed in conjunction with Field Paoli’s office as part of the Downtown Pleasant Hill Redevelopment Project. The design of the redevelopment area conveys a pedestrian friendly historical downtown area. The 660 stall parking structure is designed to complement the scale and look of the overall project. It is located at one end of the redevelopment area and will provide much needed parking for the retail shops, restaurants and movie theater across the street. Although the structure will initially be open to the public, conduit is being provided for the possibility of adding controls. |

Exterior design elements include an octagonal shaped stair/elevator tower, decorative railings with embossed metal panels, metal canopies, and ground level openings to maintain the pedestrian scale of the building. |
